A call for support

Building Our Skills is to exhibit at four recruitment and networking events organised by ‘The UK Careers Fair’ in the Autumn.
Mark Handley, Building Our Skills’ Partnerships Manager is calling for both employers and those interested in finding out more about working in the fenestration industry to come along.
He said: “We would be extremely pleased to see industry employers at one or all four of these events to help us spread the word about the industry and to make contacts with schools locally in each region.
“They’re taking place in September and October, and locations include Wolverhampton, Wakefield, Coventry and Huddersfield. We’re keen to secure support on our exhibition stands, so if you feel you can spare a couple of hours to help that would be wonderful. Equally, students or anyone wishing to enter the fenestration industry for the first time will be warmly welcomed.”
Anyone wishing to support Building Our Skills are welcome to email Mark Handley directly at markhandley@buildingourskills.co.uk.
These events are separate from the industry-bespoke careers festivals that Building Our Skills organises itself. Four of these festivals are scheduled to take place in 2025.
