FIT Show prep well under way for Hörmann UK

Hörmann UK is well underway with preparations for what promises to be its biggest and most ambitious FIT Show appearance to date, with the company planning a major new stand concept and plenty for visitors to look forward to when the show opens at the NEC Birmingham from 18–20 May 2027.

With double the floor space of previous years, and a prominent position at the entrance to Hall 9 across two adjoining stands, L20 and M30, Hörmann is planning a fresh approach to how its extensive domestic door portfolio is presented.

Work is already proceeding on the stand concepts, with the company developing a new and engaging way to showcase its products.

Taking inspiration from the recently launched ‘Hörmann Street’ social media campaign, the stand will bring a distinctive creative approach to the FIT Show, designed to encourage visitors to explore the range and discover the products in a more engaging setting.

The main focus will be on entrance doors, with Stand L20 dedicated to the company’s entrance door portfolio.

Visitors will be able to see the Hörmann Truedor composite door range alongside Hörmann’s steel and aluminium doors, providing an opportunity to explore the breadth of the company’s offering, from design and aesthetics through to construction, security and performance.

The adjoining stand will showcase Hörmann’s market-leading garage door range, including NT60 sectional side doors and roller garage doors, alongside other key products.

The display will demonstrate the range of solutions available to installers and their customers, with a focus on product functionality, performance and design.

David O’Mara, Marketing Manager at Hörmann UK, said: “FIT Show 2027 is going to be a very important event for Hörmann and we’re putting a huge amount of thought into how we use the additional space to create something that is both informative and memorable.

“We want visitors to experience our products rather than simply see them on display, and the creative direction we’re taking with the stand will give us a great platform to do that.

“The success of Hörmann Street has also given us some exciting ideas about how we can bring that same sense of creativity and engagement into the exhibition environment.

“There is still plenty to be revealed, but we’re looking forward to giving visitors a FIT Show experience that is very much Hörmann.”

And while the show is still some way off, there is already a little intrigue surrounding the Wednesday evening networking event.

The company is keeping its plans under wraps for now but have revealed that a celebrity duo will be joining them on their stand and will be taking to the decks for a house music DJ set – promising to turn up the volume and quite literally bring the house down.
