Unique Window Systems charity golf day raises £5,000

Unique Window Systems has celebrated its fifth annual golf event, with more than 100 guests from across the industry joining the business for a day of golf, networking and fundraising.
Held at Birstall Golf Club in Leicester, The Unique Invitational 2026 brought together customers, suppliers, industry friends and partners of Unique Window Systems for a day that combined friendly competition with fundraising for an important cause – Hope Against Cancer.
The event raised £5,000 for the charity, which will be dedicated to funding world-class research into cancer that benefits patients on a local, national and global level.
The Unique Invitational has reportedly become a key event for the company and its network, with this year’s fifth event proving to be another hugely successful occasion.
Guests enjoyed a day of golf, followed by an evening meal and drinks, providing plenty of opportunity to catch up with industry friends and celebrate the day’s achievements.
The event was made possible with the support of a number of industry sponsors, including: profine UK, Avantis, Olympic Glass, Total Hardware, Eurocell, OWS, Emmegi, The Georgian Bar Company, AluK, DFS Fixings, Alunet Systems, Clearview magazine, Superior Sections, DoorCo, and Ingenious Locks & Hardware.
Commenting on the event, Sunil Patel, Director at Unique, said: “The Unique Invitational is a fantastic opportunity to spend time with customers, suppliers and other contacts in a relaxed setting and have an enjoyable day, while raising money for an important cause.
“The day allows us to thank those who are an important part of the story of Unique Windows for their continued support and we would like to say thank you once again to our sponsors and everyone who attended – not only for making the day so memorable, but for raising a fantastic amount of money for a very deserving charity.
“Finally, on behalf of all at Unique, congratulations to our winning team on the day: David Simpson, Glyn Allen and Ricky Milstead from Winvic Construction, along with Adam Ainge from Unique.”
