Window Widgets sponsors Charity Golf Open Day

In May, Window Widgets said it was proud to support the James Hopkins Trust Annual Charity Golf Day at Lilley Brook Golf Club in Cheltenham, where £11,885 for the Gloucestershire-based charity was raised.
As part of their sponsorship for the annual event, Window Widgets sponsored the event’s golf scorecards, supporting a day which is organised to bring together businesses, golfers and supporters to raise both awareness and funds for hundreds of children across Gloucestershire who have a life-limiting or life-threatening condition.
Established in 1989, the James Hopkins Trust had a vision to make a positive impact on the lives of babies and children up to the age of 6 who face severe health challenges.
Since starting, they have helped over 700 children and families, providing free nursing-led respite either in the comfort of families’ own homes or at the trust’s purpose-built multi-sensory centre “Kites Corner.”
Jo Trotman, Sales and Marketing Manager at Window Widgets, commented: “We are honoured to have supported this year’s James Hopkins Trust Charity event and help raise donations for such a worthy cause.
“The work that everyone at the James Hopkins Trust Charity does is truly inspiring, and we are proud to play a small part in helping the charity continue to support so many children and families.”
Laura Brooker, Fundraiser at James Hopkins Trust, added: “We are so grateful to all of our fantastic sponsors, like Window Widgets, who support our charity and help make the event a success each year.
“A huge thank you to everyone who helped to support our Charity Golf Day from everyone at James Hopkins Trust.
“Your support allows us to continue supporting life-limited or life-threatened children in Gloucestershire and allow them access to specialist respite care, enriching their lives and the lives of their families.
“We are delighted to have raised an incredible £11,885! This will change the lives of so many families, and we hope more sponsors get involved every year so we can continue the work we do.”
The James Hopkins Trust is said to rely heavily on donations, fundraising events and corporate partnerships to continue delivering its free services to families across Gloucestershire.
