Trade Window Centre has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Made in the UK grand final

Trade Window Centre (TWC) has been announced as a finalist in the Investment Project of the Year category at the Made in the UK Awards 2026, following its category win at the Made in Yorkshire Awards in early March.

Trade Window Centre Win Investment Project Of The Year at the Made in Yorkshire AwardsThe Made in UK awards are national awards, hosted by Insider Media, bringing together the top regional winners from across the UK to celebrate excellence in manufacturing, making this shortlisting a significant achievement for the Yorkshire-based fenestration fabricator.

This national recognition comes shortly after Trade Window Centre won the same category at the Made in Yorkshire Awards, held at the Royal Armouries in Leeds, where judges praised the company’s forward-thinking investments and commitment to long-term growth.

Over the past year, the business has reportedly delivered a transformative programme that includes a brand‑new 26,000ft² manufacturing facility, advanced automation through the installation of a Haffner CNC machine, and the launch of a premium energy‑efficient PVC-U product range.

TWC said these strategic developments have enhanced efficiency, boosted product quality, and elevated customer satisfaction, underpinning the company’s strong competitive position within the manufacturing sector.

Reflecting on the achievement, Managing Director and Co‑Owner Dominic Francis said the announcement marked an important moment in the company’s journey.

He said that there was “immense pride in the team” and highlighted the significance of being recognised on both regional and national stages, noting the company’s evolution from operating in a 3,000ft² shed to now leading from a state‑of‑the‑art facility.

He emphasised that “bold investments are central to delivering the best products and service to their customers, and that receiving recognition for these efforts is an honour for the entire team”.

TWC’s advancement to the national Made in the UK Awards is said to highlight the impact of its investment strategy and commitment to innovation, quality and sustainable long-term growth

Members of the team will be attending the awards which are taking place on Thursday 19 November at the Science and Industry Museum in Manchester.
