Installer only meet ups added to Bristol PiGs

In response to a very popular LinkedIn post, PiGs AKA People in Glazing Society will kick off an installer-only hour from 4pm prior to the Bristol event on 22 May 2025.
“Creating a space for installers to meet face to face is an easy add on for us,” explains STY Master Sarah Ball. “The shout out from Jake Connoly of Concept Glazing to installers attracted 154 reactions and 78 comments. https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7309258637581910016/ and it was in response to that post that the idea took shape.
“Plus, I had a great conversation with Ian Woolley from Blinds in Glass Group, and it was to Ian that I made the suggestion first. He agreed it was worth a try – so here we go!
“We can match the willingness for installers to get together, with a venue and time that’s completely FOC to use. We will trial it at the next event an hour before the main Bristol PiGs. We have now created a separate ticket for installers – who can come early to meet up with other local installation companies.
“If its successful, we can roll it out to offer an installer hour at three more events in 2025.
“It’s not our aim to take the lead on this – but rather as a facilitator for installation companies wanting a central meeting space. We are hugely excited to see the response – and look forward to testing the waters (hopefully not literally) on the harbourside in Bristol.”
Sarah adds: “PiGs AKA People in Glazing Society belongs to the industry, George and I are the guardians of the brand, and everything we do is designed to enhance the industry. In addition to our events, we run good news stories, shout about the amazing support the industry gives to charity and local sport, and promote the industry as a great place to work.”
ALL PiGs networking events are FREE to attend.
