A place of innovation and opportunities

The Joinery Network’s theme of innovation and opportunities for joiners and for those that work with timber went down brilliantly at the recent Materials and Finishes Show.
The stand was packed with products and services from the network’s industry leading partners and affiliates, offering practical support and advice for joinery companies looking to grow their timber window and door business.
GUTMANN launched the brand-new GUTMANN-LIGNUM wood-aluminium window and door system, PassivGlas vacuum glazing demonstrated how to achieve 2025 building regulations with super-slim glazing,
RegaLead displayed its new decorative glass range for timber doors, while JFJ Wood Flooring offered joiners a simple way to increase profit from projects. Erin Woodger of Woodger also explained how the Mentor2Freedom program enables owners to grow their business without stress and Balls2 Marketing full-service marketing agency gave advice on how to get more enquiries and win sales.
As well as being represented on the stand, one of the founder partners, Owen Dare, could be seen twice a day in the Demo Zone showing how to make Lignum window using Leitz tooling. It was one of the most popular live demos throughout the duration of the show, and Owen played to a packed house every time.
Andy Ball, Joint MD at Balls2 Marketing and Founder Partner at The Joinery Network, said: “We believe the success for The Joinery Network was the awareness of joiners who were keen to get compliant to the new Document Q Regulations ahead of time. The work that we have put in over the years to create a fully certified window and door system compliant to Building Regulations has paid off. Everything in the Lignum range is tested and accredited by Secured by Design.
“There was also massive interest in the new GUTMAN-LIGNUM window, as well as the Passivglas.
“Innovation and opportunities for joiners were clear to see on the stand, and they were keen to get more information. Between the companies represented on the stand, we had more than 200 enquiries to follow up.
“That’s a huge success for The Joinery Network.”
