BDM / Sales Manager

Region for Candidate to based: Yorkshire / Lancashire / Midlands – however all England considered

Area to be covered: Wider UK

Remuneration: £45,000 – £50,000 + bonus incentives, company car allowance

MacGregor Recruitment have a great opportunity for a field based BDM / Sales Manager to join a manufacturer of composite doors.

Our client is a manufacturer based in West Yorkshire that fabricates and supplies high quality fenestration products to a wide range of trade counters, showrooms and installers. The business is dynamic, has backing, is growing and has an impressive sales growth trajectory and potential.  As the business continues to expand career progression opportunities are anticipated.

The geographical location is flexible for candidates with strong sales experience & ability within the composite door sector.

 Sales Manager role:

• The Sales Manager role is primarily to maximise sales opportunities and achieve agreed sales growth targets.
• You’ll build relationships with potential merchant/distribution customers across the UK, introduce the composite door range, and service offering, negotiate and bring on board new customers.
• Provide excellent account management and maximise sales opportunities

Skills & Experience:

• Field sales experience within the composite door sector is essential
• Experience working for a manufacturer and developing sales with trade counters, showrooms and trade installer customers is essential
• The successful candidate will have strong rapport, communication, relationship building skills and a strong customer focus
• Commercial, a strong negotiator, self motivated, resilient and driven to achieve success
• Valid UK driving licence and comfortable with regular travel

Package:

• £45k-£50k DOE with an excellent commission / bonus structure that rewards success.
