Self-Employed Window & Door Repair Technician / Installer

Multiple areas available across southern England

Gross earning potential: £1,200–£1,800 per week, based on current owner-operator earnings. Actual earnings depend on availability, completed work, job mix and demand.

You bring the skills. GreenSave brings the customer appointments.

We seek experienced self-employed repair technicians and installers to join our owner-operator network. You provide your van, tools and workmanship; we provide appointments, parts, installation materials and support.

No joining or franchise fee, monthly subscription, territory purchase or bidding against other contractors.

WHAT WE PROVIDE
• Lead generation, marketing and booked appointments, subject to your availability and acceptance.
• Repair parts and agreed installation materials at no cost to you.
• WorkHub for appointments and job records.
• Initial training, ongoing technical support and owner-operator mentorship.
• Quoting, payment collection and invoicing administration.
• Customer confirmations, reminders, branding and operating systems.

PAYMENT
Transparent, agreed rates for completed work, discussed at interview and supplied before agreement. Invoice GreenSave with administrative support. Payment by BACS every Friday for completed work invoiced during the previous week.

THE WORK
Diagnose faults; realign entrance, patio and bifold doors; replace hinges, handles, locks and sealed glass units; install replacement windows and doors; record completed work in WorkHub.

Work is matched to your skills. Accepted jobs must be completed safely, competently and professionally.

YOUR INDEPENDENCE
This is a self-employed sole-trader contractor arrangement. Choose your availability, block out diary time and continue working for your own customers or other businesses. You may use a suitably competent, insured helper or substitute while remaining responsible for agreed work.

Once you accept an appointment, honour the customer arrangements. Protect GreenSave customer information and use it only for agreed GreenSave work.

WHAT YOU NEED
• Relevant repair, fitting, glazing or transferable trade experience.
• Suitable van, tools, smartphone and valid driving licence.
• Appropriate public liability, business and vehicle insurance.
• Independent fault diagnosis, professional customer care and confidence using apps.
• Responsibility for fuel, travel, business expenses, tax administration and correcting defective workmanship.

Travel to accepted appointments is at your expense. Other areas may be agreed mutually.
