Favourite PiGs location: Newcastle (but I loved the London Boat party in 2025!)

Tipple of choice: Nothing too heavy as I’m working, but don’t mind a beer or two…

What’s the best thing about PiGs? Just the sheer amount of people from throughout the supply chain all in one room.

What makes PiGs different from other industry events? It’s so chilled out, and you can just enjoy it without feeling forced to have to get something out of it.

Who’s someone you love catching up with at a PiGs event? There’s so many now that I genuinely enjoy catching up with, but if I had to pick one or two, it would be Dom Francis of Trade Window Centre or Erdogan Akgun from Soudal.

Most memorable PiGs moment (either at an event or an event in particular)? It would have to be at the London Boat Party in 2025, where the aforementioned Dom Francis thought my PiGs partner in crime, Sarah, and her husband Andy Ball were my mum and dad and thought PiGs was a family business! I think the look on my face said it all! We still joke about it now.

Where in the world would you take PiGs to if you could? After hearing about the American PiGs that happened before my time, I’d love to take it back there somewhere (NYC maybe?!), but I also love Germany so somewhere there would also be great!

Who should come to the next PiGs event (in one sentence)? PiGs has become a networking event for EVERYONE! Whether you’ve been in the sector a short amount of time, or been in it forever, it’s now become must-attend. So why not come and see for yourself?!
