Glazerite strengthens Scottish team through new appointment

Glazerite has appointed Rhys Carmichael as Area Sales Manager for Scotland, bringing several years of fenestration industry experience to its sales team.

Based in Scotland, Rhys will reportedly work closely with customers across the region, providing a dedicated local point of contact and drawing on his industry knowledge to support their day-to-day requirements.

Billy Hawes, National Sales Manager at Glazerite, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Rhys to the team. He brings valuable industry experience and a strong understanding of the importance of developing lasting relationships with customers.

“Scotland is an important market for Glazerite and having Rhys based in the region means he can work closely with our customers, get to know their businesses and provide dedicated support.”

Rhys joins Glazerite as the fabricator develops its presence across Scotland, supported by its Northwest manufacturing division and established delivery network.

The Northwest site has reportedly built significant experience in supplying the Scottish market, including factory-glazed products and higher volumes of tilt and turn and fully reversible windows.

Its delivery network serves customers across Scotland, including locations as far north as Peterhead and Inverness.

Having completed his induction across the Glazerite Group, Rhys has spent time with teams across the business, developing his knowledge of its manufacturing operations, product range and customer support.

He is now looking forward to meeting customers across Scotland and putting that knowledge into practice.

Rhys said: “I’m really pleased to be joining Glazerite and I’m looking forward to getting out and meeting customers across Scotland.

“Having spent the last several years working in the industry, I know how valuable strong supplier relationships are.

“My focus will be on getting to know our customers, understanding their businesses and making sure they have the support they need from Glazerite.

“My induction has given me a great opportunity to get to know the wider team and see how the different parts of the Group work together. I’m looking forward to building on that as I get out and meet customers across the region.”

Rhys’ appointment is said to come as Glazerite builds on its established customer base in Scotland, with the business seeing continued growth across the market.

Billy added: “We’ve developed a strong customer base in Scotland and Rhys will play an important role in supporting its future development.

“He has the industry knowledge, local presence and customer-focused approach we’re looking for, and we’re looking forward to seeing him build strong relationships with customers across the region.”
